Meet the Doctors
Dr. Dan Hoover
Before obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Dan began his pre-chiropractic education at Palmer Junior College where he received an Associate of Science degree. “After completing my studies there, I was accepted at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During my four years at Palmer, my courses included biochemistry, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Palmer College Public Clinic.” Dr. Dan graduated in 1979 and established his practice here in town.
To provide the best possible care to his patients, he continues to update his education and knowledge by attending various seminars and courses.
Life Outside the Practice
Dr. Dan is married and has three grown children and two grandkids. He enjoys fishing and spending time with his family. In his spare time, he also likes restoring collector cars. He is actively involved in his church, Calvary of the Quad Cities.
Dr. Michael Hoover
Dr. Hoover began his pre-chiropractic education at Scott Community College and graduated from Parker University of Dallas, Texas in 2011. He then obtained a bachelor’s and doctorate at Parker. During his time at the university, he studied biochemistry, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in Parker’s clinic.
One of my passions is to help people that suffer from scoliosis. While attending Parker, I worked for a clinic that specialized in scoliosis.
Dr. Michael joined his father’s practice in 2011, and he continues to establish his practice in Davenport. He updates his education and knowledge by attending seminars and classes to enhance the care of his patients.
Staying Active in Davenport
Dr. Michael loves to snowboard when he can, and enjoys fishing, particularly trout fishing. “I also like to restore houses, and just finished my home recently. I enjoy riding motorcycles during the summer with my family, and attend Heritage Church.”
